Guitars are great forms of entertainment, though they can be bulky and loud when traveling. That is why there are Travel Guitars offering nearly the same quality of music in half the size. You can rock out to your favorite songs you love playing without disturbing your neighbor in the seat next to you.

You may be asking yourself why you would want a "mini guitar" when you already have a full-sized guitar. All you have to do is think about one thing. Let us say you did not have time to practice before a show. You are on the way to the concert hall on the bus. You pull out your travel guitar you plug in your headphones and practice right there. Your guitar is not in any ones way, and the best part you are not giving away your music for potential ticket holders for your show lurking on the bus. Just check out the travel guitar reviews online they all say the same.

Other uses for these little gems include taking them on vacation, camping, and anywhere that you do not want to risk your full size guitar.

If you are waiting around for someone to help you at the store because you do not know anything about travel guitars here is your help you are looking for. There are dozens of travel guitars some better than others. Keep in mind sound quality, noise reductions, durability and lifespan. You may purchase a guitar thinking that it looks great so you have to have it. That could be your worst mistake. There are many reviews out there for these guitars and many of those reviews can help you decide which you would be suited best for.

For me personally, I like the Martin line of travel guitars. You can get one for a couple hundred dollars, so it won't break the bank, but still sounds great. The sound is a little thinner than your full size guitar, but that is to be expected, as there is not as much volume in the box and therefore not as full of a sound. Another great one is the line of Washburn guitars. These two brands are some of the best sellers.

Travel guitars are great for any occasion as you can plug them into your amplifier and jam out with it as well as keep it quiet. Some are smaller than others are and some are more comfortable than others are. They are easy to finger and easy to pluck, made from wood, to plastic, to metal and even composite materials. The more durable the guitar does not mean the better sound it all depends on personal preference. Look for a brand you trust and start from there. You can find them all acoustic, electric, and bass, whatever you are looking for in a variety of shapes sizes and colors.
